The dirtiest river in the world, is this our future ???


Citarum, a river flowing near the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta has a length of 272 km. The river is an important source of irrigation, and also the main source of drinking water for local residents. The river has not always been known as the most polluted, but in recent 20th years due wide range of industrial and domestic effluents discharged into the river to deserve this label.
